Sidney Samson is a Dutch DJ and dance musician. When he was just seven years old he began playing the guitar; from there on out Samson knew that he wanted to make music for the rest of his life. He started DJing at the age of 13, touching base with hip hop before working on house music in 1999. He quickly became a hit and was announced in 2003 as the resident DJ of the "Exxellent" nights at one of Holland's biggest nightclubs, The Matrixx. It was right after his residency when Samson made his first real club banger, "It's All Funked Up," which released by Spinnin' Records. In 2007, he teamed up with Gregor Salto to form his own record label, Samsobeats. After his label was established, his tracks were some of the hottest songs played by DJs around the world. Notably one of the most outstanding, crowd-pleasing tracks released by Sidney was "Riverside." With its riveting beats and exciting drops, the song captures the essence of true Dirty Dutch sounds. The single went to No. 1 on the Dutch Top 40, No. 1 on the Irish Singles Chart, No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart, and No. 9 on the Australian ARIA Chart. It was difficult to enter a club without hearing "Riverside," as David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Diplo, Atrak, Tiga, and Boys Noize supported it. Samson is one of best dirty Dutch DJs, right up there with Afrojack and Chuckie. Sidney Samson has built a great buzz in the club culture and is now recognized as a highly-sought after remixer and a profound producer.
