Sebastian Ingrosso is a Swedish DJ and producer of Italian descent. But to merely call him one third of the talented trinity, Swedish House Mafia, would be referring to only a small sample of a myriad of his accomplishments. Born in Grahamstown, South Africa but raised in Solna, Sweden, Ingrosso spent most of his teenage years learning the artistry of making music from his father, who owned two record labels. In 1999, he released his first remix on Mega Records and for over a decade has dived into the production world, pushing out multiple remixes and tracks. Ingrosso scored his first major hit with Axwell in 2005 with their track, "Together." In 2009, Ingrosso, Dirty South, and David Guetta produced "How Soon Is Now," with Julia McKnight, which became a modern day vocal house hit. His other tracks include sleek house tracks like "Leave The World Behind," "Umbrella," and "Laktos." Ingrosso is the head of A&R for his own record label, Refune. Through his label, he has pioneered many artists in recent years such as AN21, Style of Eye, Alesso, and Max Vangeli. After linking up with childhood friends, Axwell and Steve Angello, to form Swedish House Mafia, the super group became one of the biggest names in EDM. Although the trio had all agreed that they had grown weary of the spotlight, the recent announcement of the breakout of SHM won't stop Ingrosso from continuing on his own legacy as a gifted recording artist and producer.
