The 20-year old Porter Robinson headlines top US nightclubs, where he isn’t even legally allowed to drink yet. His honesty and deep desire to produce music and to put together performances to create what he calls a “rapturous, beautiful experience,” set him apart from the usual party and club DJs. He aims to promote good vibes, and has stated that his fans’ emotional reactions to his music are what really touch him. He has released songs under notable labels such as OWSLA and Ministry of Sound, including “Spitfire,” “Unison,” and break-through hit “Language.” His production style is extremely eclectic in the way that he has released and mixed house, trance, moombahton and dub tracks all in conjunction with each other. He reached the top of the Beatport charts in 2011 with his very first single “Say My Name,” and has been snowballing since then. Robinson is known to be good friends with fellow producer, Zedd, and has performed alongside EDM powerhouses such as Tiesto and Skrillex. Still currently residing in his hometown of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Robinson can be found on tour at multiple festivals such as Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Coachella, Ultra, Lollapalooza, Camp Bisco and many others, and currently boasts a residency at Las Vegas’ Wynn nightclubs.
