Born in Moldove, Eastern Europe, to a family of doctors, Max Vangeli quickly realized that his calling would not exactly be within his family's profession. It was while he was studying economics at UC Santa Barbara when Vangeli realized that music was his passion. He began to produce beats during his college years and learned to play instruments. As many producers do, he made the switch to DJing to promote his music. Vangeli produced 3 big hits in 2008 one of the songs, called "iRock," was featured in Pete Tong's Essential Mix. It wasn't until 2010 when Vangeli celebrated his pivotal year. His massive remix of Pendulum's "The Island," with label-mates Steve Angello and AN21, was named the "Hottest Track In The World," by BBC Radio One's Zane Lowe and reached No. 3 in the global Beatport sales chart. AN21 and Vangeli also collaborated to make arguably one of the most beautiful 'Big Room' house tracks called "Swedish Beauty." Infusing the globe’s finest venues across the globe, Vangeli's debut album featured collaborations with the likes of Steve Angello and Tiesto and is enough to indicate that with so much momentum already behind him, there is little stopping this master of majestic House anthems.
