Welcome to the world of belligerent behaviors and rebellious acts. Nothing too dangerous, except for the sounds of LA Riots. Formed by Daniel Linton and John O'Brien on the 15th anniversary of the 1992 Los Angeles Riots, this performing pair took on a different approach to DJing that brought them to their current success. The LA Riots are known for their bawdy blend of indie rock, alternative dance, and electro house sounds. They started out from the bottom, playing weekly shows at small venues throughout Southern California. They became a local favorite and through their blogosphere have quickly taken the party to the masses. LA Riots, now just Linton, has branded his sound as the fusion of techno, indie, house, and drum n' bass. He has crafted many remixes from a diverse roster of DJs including Tiesto, Laidback Luke, and Sidney Samson. Linton has received multiple successes throughout his DJ career including touring with MSTRKRFT, Bloody Beetroots, and The Crystal Method. He has landed on the lineup of Global Gathering, Lollapalooza, Pukklepop, and Ultra. In 2010, LA Riots was named Beatport's "Break Out Stars." Nowadays, Linton continues his titanic presence in the DJ booth, having a sold out European Tour, returning to Ultra Music Festival, and continuing his residency at XS Nightclub in Las Vegas. Let loose and let your body, mind, and soul run riot.
