Henry Steinway began releasing music under his DJ alias, Clockwork, at the age of 18. After his work caught fire online and his releases began to be used at festivals worldwide, he became the youngest producer to be signed to Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak records. One of his most well known official remixes for Avicii’s “Levels” currently has over 4 million views on Youtube. This relatively new coming DJ to the EDM scene does not put out much personal information to the public. His influence, personal life and background can hardly be traced online. He does keep separate social media accounts for his inaugural electronic project, Clockwork, and his recent side-project, RL Grime. Originally form Los Angeles, California and transplanted to New York City to attend NYU for his collegiate endeavors, Steinway has continued to put out big-room dance hits that are frequently picked up by big name producers at shows around the world. His first EP “Squad Up” was remixed by some of the greats like Dillon Francis. Putting out tracks under a couple of the most prominent labels in the game, Mad Decent and Dim Mak, and headlining shows across the country and around the world, Clockwork is already on a roll that will lead to even greater feats than the 22-year-old producer has already accomplished.
