Nick van de Wall (aka Afrojack) is a Dutch music producer, DJ and remixer. Born in Spijkenisse, Netherlands, he began playing the piano at age five. But his true musical passion of making songs unfolded after he received a copy of the music sequencing program Fruity Loops; it was then when he began to play around with instrumental samples and created his own music. It wasn't long before Afrojack was traveling to and from Crete to play at all of the different clubs and hone his craft. His first exposure to the large-scale fame was in 2010 when he teamed up with electro-pop vocalist Eva Simons to create the single, "Take Over Control." The song charted in 10 different countries and went platinum in the U.S. Afrojack's rapid popularity brought him to establish his own label, Wall Recordings, from which he continued to make chart-topping hits. He collaborated with Pitbull for the hit single, "Give Me Everything," Beyonce for "Run The World (Girls)," Leona Lewis in "Collide," and mega star DJ, David Guetta, for the smash record "Titanium." Afrojack has created a solid team under his label which now includes some of the top DJs such as R3hab, Quintino, and Sidney Samson. From Asia to South Africa and Europe to America, his "Jacked" parties have become a global success. Not only does Afrojack throw one hell of a party, his presence is grandiose; at 6'4" Afrojack's snowballing success as well as his towering stature are two things you just cannot ignore.
